Leeds United are interested in signing Manchester United winger Daniel James this summer, according to a fresh report which has emerged.
The Lowdown: James could leave Man United
The Welshman was a peripheral figure for the Red Devils last season, often struggling to oust the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James from the starting lineup.
He started just 11 Premier League games overall and it could be that he moves on from Old Trafford this summer should Manchester United deem him surplus to requirements.

The Latest: Leeds linked with move for winger
According to the print edition of The Scottish Mail on Sunday [via The Boot Room], Leeds are tracking the 23-year-old ahead of a potential summer move.
The impending signing of Jadon Sancho could move James further down the pecking order at Old Trafford, meaning that he could look for a new challenge.

The Verdict: Strong squad option
The £16.2m-rated James could be a perfect signing for Leeds, acting as a great squad option to come in and provide competition for Raphinha and Jack Harrison out wide.
The Welshman possesses electrifying pace on the counterattack, which could make him a hugely dangerous addition, and he is still at an age where he is maturing. After a goalscoring performance against Real Sociedad in February, his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gushed: “You can see his X-factor tonight with his work-rate, his pace and running in behind teams.”
James could go up another gear working under Marcelo Bielsa, fine-tuning his all-round game and possibly benefiting from more game-time.
In other news, Leeds have been tipped to sign one Euro 2020 star this summer. Find out who it is here.
