Leeds were on fire throughout November as they didn’t drop a single point and scored 11 goals in five games, with Mateusz Klich’s superb strike against Middlesbrough the standout moment. It was the 29-year-old’s second goal of the game and certainly one to remember as he collected the ball outside of the penalty area before curling a wonder strike into the far corner. The Poland international hasn’t been amongst the goals as much this season which is a surprise given the quality he showed against Boro, and that means Marcelo Bielsa should look to encourage him to take on such shots in future.
Supporters would almost certainly like to see efforts like that from Klich more often, and from their reaction it seems they are pleased his strike has won the Championship Goal of the Month for November.
It is the first time a Leeds player has picked up the award this season, though it is unlikely to be the last given some of the top-quality goals the Whites have scored in recent weeks.
They have proved most effective on the counter-attack, with breakaway goals against Hull and Cardiff in recent matches highlighting the devastating speed and clinical nature of the team.

That too is worthy of recognition, and some fans seem to think one of their players will pick up the award as long as they are nominated, as it is a fan vote which determines the winner.
Not all fans are satisfied, however, and despite Klich’s brilliance more is expected of him from one supporter, who calls on the Leeds man to deliver once again in the trip to Fulham this weekend.
Meanwhile, Leeds have been reacting to an update regarding an increasingly frustrating figure who is still on the treatment table.
